May Book Haul - 14 Books

Hello everyone!

I am here with my May book haul! As some of you may know, my birthday was in May, so I got some books from family and friends, as well as I used up some birthday gift cards and money!

In total, there are 14 books to show you. I am not going to talk too much about the books that I have read because I will save them for my June Wrap Up.

Missing: The Program (lending it out to a friend)
Of the 14 books I got in May, I have only read 6 of them. Not quite half but I have made a dent!

First, I got A Deadly Business by Lis Wiehl. I don't really know to much about this book, I received it for free in exchange of an honest review from BookLook Bloggers.

Next up, is Arclight by Josin L. McQuein. I picked this one up for bargain price at Indigo. I really liked the cover and the price was great, so I couldn't turn it down!

I have read this book, and it wasn't my favourite. It was just ok.

I will talk more about it in my June Wrap Up.

Next up, I got Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. I had some Indigo gift cards from my birthday burning a hole in my pocket and decided to finally pick this one up!

I really enjoyed it and after reading Eleanor and Park, I am hooked on Rainbow Rowell's books. There is just no way she can go wrong!

Once again, I will talk more in my June Wrap Up.

Next is Fixing Delilah by Sarah Ockler. I originally saw this book on Book Outlet for $4.99 or something and put it in my cart to eventually buy.

However, I was strolling through Indigo and under a table, I saw it. For $2!! How was I supposed to turn it down!

I have not read this one yet, but I plan to soon.

Another book I got in May was Meridian by Josin L. Sequin. This is the sequel to Arclight and let me tell you, it is a lot longer!

I picked this one up with Arclight, because I thought I was going to love Arclight and didn't want to have to be in withdrawal. However, I wasn't really a fan of this one.

I will discuss it more in my June Wrap Up but it wasn't very good, in my opinion.

Next I got Panic by Lauren Oliver. I got this one for my birthday from my mom and I have to say, this wasn't at all what I was expecting.

I have already read it, so you can see my thoughts on it in my May Wrap Up post.

Next is a book that has been going around for a little bit know, Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins.

I have not read this one, but can we just take a step back and look at this cover. It is stunning, the picture doesn't do it justice at all.

I am hoping to read this one in June.

Next is Ruins by Dan Wells. I got this one from my brother and sister. I have read Partials by Dan Wells, which is the first book in the trilogy and own the second book.

I have not read this one, or the second one, but I am planning on finishing off the trilogy in the summer.

The next book I got was Slide by Jill Hathaway.

This was another one that was on my wish list and that I saw under a table for a bargain price, so I just had to pick it up.

I might wait until I have the sequel Imposter to marathon the series.

Next up, is The Forsaken by Lias M. Stasse. I got this one for another bargain price, and since I got the second one The Uprising for my birthday, I figured I needed to get the first one!

I am planning on waiting for the third and final book to come out in July so I can just marathon the series.

Another book I got was The Program by Suzanne Young. I have already read this one, and you can read more of my thoughts on my May Wrap Up post.

This book was really good, except for the cliffhanger ending! I didn't pick up the second book in the duology because I bought this one in store, not online and they only had one copy of the second book left and it was in bad shape so I decided I would wait and buy the second one online. I finished The Program in one day and ordered the second one the minute I was finished!

The next book is The Treatment and I bought online right after I finished the first one, The Program.

This was such a good duology and I highly recommend this set to anyone!

I read this one in June so watch out for my June Wrap Up to see my final thoughts.

Almost done! This next book I got from my grandma and it is the second book in the Forsaken trilogy, The Uprising by Lisa M. Stasse.

Like I said with The Forsaken I am going to wait until the third book comes out in July to read this trilogy.

And finally, I got Unraveling by Elizabeth Norris. And is it just me, but shouldn't it have two L's?? Is that just a Canadian thing? I'm not sure.

Anyways, I got this one from my mom as well and I think I am going to wait and get the second and third books before I read it.

Whew! So that is it! I really hope you enjoyed this post and stay tuned for more!
