I am back with another Top 5 Wednesday! If you want to check it out, you can go to the Goodreads group and read more about it.
This weeks topic is Top 5 favourite books I've read so far in 2014. Now, its only 7 months into the year, but I definitely have quite a few favourite books so far!
5. Fixing Delilah
Fixing Delilah by Sarah Ockler was my first Sarah Ockler book and I loved it!
The story follows a girl named Delilah and her life is kind of falling apart. Then, one summer she returns to the family home she hasn't been to in 7 years because of a falling out that no one in the family will talk about. Surrounded by these lies, Delilah experiences new friendships, an unexpected romance and a classic tale of self-discovery.
I really loved this book. It was a short read but it was very gripping and well written. I have heard mixed reviews but really liked it and I gave it 5/5 stars on Goodreads.

4. Dash and Lily's Book of Dares
The next book in my T5W is Dash and Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan. I really liked this one and it was a fun little quick read.
I loved this book! I read it all in one day and loved the characters and the wit in the writing. It really was a magical novel! I really enjoyed the story line and it kept me hooked throughout. Without a doubt, another 5/5 stars on Goodreads!
3. Rebel Belle
My next favourite book of 2014 so far is Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins.
This story follows a girl named Harper Price who becomes a Paladin and is tasked in protecting her sworn enemy. The book was entertaining and witty and I can't wait for the next book from the series.
I actually have a review posted for this book here,

2. Please Ignore Vera Dietz
Next this month I read Please Ignore Vera Dietz by A.S. King. I really liked this book, it was my first A.S. King book and I am really excited to read more from her in the near future.
Basically the story follows Vera, an eighteen-year old girl who is left in the aftermath of her best friend, Charlie's death. The story alternates between their childhood and "present day."
I also have a full review for this book in this post and I gave it a 5/5 stars on Goodreads.

1. Eleanor and Park
Finally, my favourite book so far in 2014 is Rainbow Rowell's Eleanor and Park. This was my first Rainbow Rowell book, and I can tell you, it will not be my last!
This wonderful book follows the lives of Eleanor, a 16 year old who comes from a broken family and abusive stepfather and Park, also a 16 year old who decides to let the new girl sit with him on the school bus. This story is set over the course of one school year, where two teens are smart enough to know that first love almost never lasts, but brave and desperate enough to try.
I LOVED this book. I thought it was so well written and the characters were so real. This book was not what I had expected - it was so much more! For sure, a 5/5 stars on Goodreads!
