Monday Reviews - Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Hello everyone!

I am back from my vacation and I have a review from a great book to share with you today!

Recently, I read the entire Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout because the final book just came out and I had read the first book, Obsidian as an ebook and really enjoyed it.

If you are unfamiliar with the series, here is a quick synopsis of the first book:

Starting over sucks.

When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I'd pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring... until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.

And then he opened his mouth.

Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something... unexpected happens.

The hot alien living next door marks me.

You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon's touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I'm getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.

If I don't kill him first, that is.

Man I loved this book! I usually do not like paranormal books or books with aliens, but this book was just so amazing! There was sassy commentary, a non-insta romance and just such kick-butt characters!

Because they did a cover change on the 5th and final book, I decided to get the matching bind ups of the first four books, but don't let the old or new covers scare you, this series is just so amazing!

I gave all the Lux books, including Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout a full 5/5 stars on Goodreads.

I highly recommend you pick this up, even if you are uncertain, it is so good.
