Tag Thursday - Chocolate Book Tag

Hello everyone!

I am back with another tag Thursday! This week, I am doing the chocolate book tag. I am not 100% sure who created this tag, but if I find out, I will link them here.

Basically, in this tag you have different types of chocolate and match a book to that chocolate.

Dark Chocolate - A book that covers a dark topic

I would say that this book would have to be The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. This book deals with the kidnapping, rape and eventual murder of a young girl. It is a pretty intense book, and a frightening read to say the least. Although I did enjoy the writing, I just don't know if I will ever reread it.

White Chocolate - A light-hearted or humorous read

I think that the book that is like white chocolate would be Broken Hearts, Fences and Other Things To Mend by Katie Finn. This book deals with revenge but I didn't find it super heavy and it was a fast and easy read.

Milk Chocolate - A book with lots of hype that you are dying to read

I think that the book I am most dying to read that has a lot of hype is Opposition by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I read the first book in the Lux Series not too long ago and I am currently working my way through the rest of the series so it can get to book 5.

Chocolate Filled With Caramel - A book that made you feel all gooey inside

When I think of gooey inside, I think cutsy love story. And for that, I would have to say My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick. This book is a love story. You know that from the get go, which also means that they will get together somewhere near the beginning of the book, not within the last 60 pages. This book was so cute and just made me feel all gooey.

Wafer-Free KitKat - A book that surprised you (in a good way!)

Hmm, I feel like I read books that I know I am going to like, because I know what my tastes are. However, I would have to say that the book that surprised me was Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I originally got this book as a free ebook and read it on my phone, because I had heard lots of hype about the series but had not picked it up because paranormal and aliens are not my thing. However, I read this book and loved it. Next thing I know I'm buying the new bindups and preordering the final book!

Snickers - A book you are going nuts about

Currently, the Lux series! (See above for further details)

Hot Chocolate - A book you turn to for comfort

You know, I'm not the biggest fan of rereading. I mean, once I sit down and start rereading, I'm fine but thinking about rereading and how I will remember everything and will just have to skim read, not my favourite. However, one book I can always reread and will comfort me is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. Dahl was my favourite author growing up and I loved all his books, especially CATCF.

Box of Chocolate - A series that has something for everyone

Well, can I say the Lux series again? It's got some paranormal, romance, book related (the main character is a book blogger), high school problems, life problems, friendships, just anything you could ask for!

Alright well, that was the chocolate book tag! I am sorry the books aren't linked to the Goodreads page, like usual. I am currently typing this post on my iPhone, not my laptop because I am currently on vacation and there is no wifi so I have to use my 3G on my phone to post.

Anyways! I will see you next week for another Tag Thursday!
