Monday Reviews - A Pocket Full of Murder by R.J. Anderson

Hello everyone!

I am back with another Monday Reviews! This week, I will be reviewing a book I received from Simon & Shuster Canada, called A Pocket Full of Murder by R.J. Anderson! Thanks for sending me a copy of the book for review, all opinions are my own.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book!

I read it in one sitting, it was a fun little mystery that I flew through!

This is a middle grade novel, so the characters are a little younger than your average YA novel, about 12-13, but I didn't have a problem connecting and relating to them. My only issue with the age was some parts where I was wondering how a 12 year old was allowed to do certain things, but I still enjoyed it.

While the ending does tell us the murderer, there isn't really anything about what the consequences for them are, or when we find out the truth about Quiz. Perhaps that will be better fleshed out in the next book!

Overall, if you are looking for a quick, fun middle grade murder mystery, that really isn't scary at all, I definitely recommend this one!
