TBR TUESDAY - MARCH 15

Hello everyone!

I am back with some more new releases! This week doesn't have a ton, but these few have deep and hard hitting messages! Let's get to the books!

A Drop of Night by Stefan Bachmann

This sounds like a very unique book. I've never heard of anything quite like it before. It doesn't have the greatest reviews on Goodreads, but the average is 3.44/5.00 so who knows? Might be worth a shot if this seems up your alley!

The First Time She Drowned by Kerry Kletter

I haven't really heard anything about this book, but it sounds really good. I'm just hoping that it works out, and doesn't turn into one of those "it's supposed to be beautiful but isn't really books." I feel like it will be overhyped, but I haven't read it so hopefully it will be worth the hype!

Exit, Pursued by a Bear by E.K. Johnston

Lately, I've been really intrigued by books dealing with sexual assault. I've always enjoyed books that deal with mental illness and the traumatic events that cause these illness. This book sounds heartbreaking but wonderful. Like with books dealing with mental illness, those dealing with sexual assault need to have both a gritty, raw element, as well as a path for hope and healing. Based on this synopsis, this seems like it will fit the bill nicely.

Divah by Susannah Appelbaum

Automatically, I see demons and think Supernatural. Anyone else? No? Just me, ok... Anyways, this book sound so fantastic! A cross genre, gothic thriller and historical fiction, it sounds glorious!

Liars and Losers Like Us by Ami Allen-Vath

There are some mixed reviews for this book as well but it seems like it could be a really moving story, with some juicy high school scandals!

Well, that's it for this week! See you next time for more awesome new releases!
